Pisces Swimming School at Silcoates School is West Yorkshire's leading swim school, offering swimming lessons for children of all abilities from 4 years of age. The swimming school was founded in 1996 by Jackie Moore, who has over 35 years of experience in the leisure industry and a true passion for teaching swimming. Jackie was later joined by her husband Robin, and now their son Joe and daughter Alice have taken on prominent roles in the business.
The swimming school currently teaches over 1,600 pupils per week at three different venues: Ackworth School near Pontefract, Silcoates School in Wakefield, and The Grammar School at Leeds in North Leeds. All lessons are taught in small classes by experienced and friendly water-based swimming teachers. There is also a swimming coordinator present at all sessions to assist with any queries.
The teaching staff at Pisces Swimming School are all qualified Amateur Swimming Association or STA teachers and have undergone DBS checks. The swimming school is also affiliated with the Royal Life Saving Society UK.

To reserve a place for the Spring Term 2018, payment must be received on or before the re-enrollment date. After this date, any available places will be allocated to pupils from the waiting list. Payments can be made in cash or by credit/debit card at the poolside desk, or over the phone.
