Maria, the founder of Pilates with Maria, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her teaching. With a background in classical ballet from the Spanish Royal Conservatory of Dance and the Royal Academy of Dancing, Maria understands the importance of proper movement and alignment. After sustaining knee injuries, she turned to Yoga and Pilates to find healing and eventually became certified as a BASI Pilates Instructor. Maria's caring and friendly approach ensures that each client's individual needs are considered and addressed during their movement practise.
With a range of qualifications including BASI Mat Teacher, BASI Pilates for Pregnancy & Beyond, BASI Pilates for Hypermobility, and First Aid at Work, Maria has the knowledge and skills to guide clients of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Maria will work with you to set achievable goals and tailor the classes to your specific needs.
To get started, we offer a free consultation session where we will discuss your goals, any injuries or conditions you may have, and introduce you to some principles of Pilates. This 30-minute session can be done online or in-person, depending on your preference.
We also offer flexible pricing plans to suit your needs. You can choose to book single classes or save by purchasing a package of 10 classes to use at any time. Joseph Pilates famously said, “You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions. ” We encourage regular practise to fully experience the benefits of Pilates and see the transformation in your body and overall wellbeing.
