“Welcome to Pilates with Danielle, a Pilates studio located in Surbiton. Founded by Danielle Jones, a passionate Pilates instructor, the studio aims to make Pilates accessible to everyone, regardless of their age or fitness level.
Danielle discovered the benefits of Pilates after experiencing ongoing back pain following the birth of her first child. A 6-week postnatal Pilates course not only relieved her pain but also made her feel stronger. Inspired by this transformation, Danielle made a career change and obtained a YMCA Pilates level 3 mat work diploma, along with additional certifications in pre and postnatal Pilates.
At Pilates with Danielle, you can expect small and relaxed classes that cater to all levels. Whether you're a beginner or have been practising Pilates for years, Danielle creates a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable. She has taught individuals as young as 7 and as old as 79, proving that Pilates truly is for everyone.
The studio offers a variety of classes throughout the week. The Tuesday mat class at 10AM is a general Pilates class suitable for all levels. Held at St George's Church in Tolworth, this 1-hour class focuses on strength, flexibility, and posture. You can choose to pay as you go for 10 per class or book a half-term block for 9 per class.
For those looking for an evening class, there is also a Tuesday mat class at 8PM. This class provides an opportunity to unwind and strengthen your body after a long day. To book either of these mat classes, simply contact the studio.
Pilates with Danielle also offers postnatal Pilates classes on Mondays at 2 PM. These classes are a safe and effective way for new mothers to exercise and regain core strength. Suitable for women who have been approved by their midwife or GP (around 6–8 weeks postpartum), these 45-minute classes take place at Tolworth Children's Centre. To attend, you must be registered with Kingston Children's Centres and bookings can be made through the Tolworth Centre.
Additionally, there is a Mum and Baby Pilates class on Tuesdays at 11:30AM. This class is designed for those who have already completed the postnatal course or have started to ease back into regular exercise. It offers a chance for mothers to connect with their babies while focusing on their own fitness. The drop-in fee for this 45-minute class is 10, or you can book a 4-week block for 36.
Pilates with Danielle values the privacy and security of its clients' information. Danielle collects data through a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire, in order to be aware of any health issues that may affect participation in classes. Rest assured, all health questionnaires are stored securely on a GDPR safe Cloud-Based system and can only be accessed by Danielle Jones. Your contact details will not be shared with any third parties, and the studio does not sell or share email lists.
By attending classes, you also have the option to be added to Pilates with Danielle's email list, which is used solely to communicate information about classes. The studio asks for your consent to contact you personally through email, text, phone, or WhatsApp for class-related messages. All personal emails sent will be via a GDPR secure system.
