Welcome to attend the classes with their mothers. ABOUT PILATES METHOD BY BBW is a Pilates studio located in the bustling town of Stockport. Founded by Hayley Brew-Butler, the studio offers mat-based Pilates classes that are designed for everyBODY. The classes are low impact, aiming to train the body to be taller, leaner, and stronger, allowing each individual to become the best version of themselves.
At Pilates Method by BBW, the focus is on practising with the six main principles in mind: perfecting form, flowing through movements, achieving longer and leaner lines, engaging muscles, nourishing the body, and centring from the core. These principles are incorporated into each session, with a strong emphasis on posture, breath work, muscle strengthening, and joint stability. Through consistent practise, clients can expect to see improvements in flexibility, core strength, and muscular tone.
The studio places great importance on perfecting technique, allowing clients to achieve mindful movement and get the most out of their practise. Whether clients are new to Pilates or experienced, Pilates Method by BBW aims to build and lay the foundations for a stronger and leaner body.
Group classes are pay-as-you-go, giving clients the flexibility to attend sessions according to their schedule.
Hayley Brew-Butler, the founder of Pilates Method by BBW, discovered her love for Pilates several years ago and wanted to share this passion with others. She underwent training as a level 3 Pilates Mat instructor and takes pride in focusing on her clients' technique to ensure correct movement and to challenge them to experience the true Pilates burn.
In addition to group classes, Pilates Method by BBW also offers private sessions for a more personalised approach. These sessions allow clients to focus on specific areas they wish to work on, such as core strength, lower back pain, joint mobility, or private training. Private sessions can take place at the Heaton Moor location or can be arranged as home visits for clients in Cheshire and Manchester. For clients located anywhere in the world, private sessions can also be conducted via Zoom.
Additionally, corporate packages are available for offices seeking Pilates workshops or regular sessions.
For expecting and new mothers, Pilates Method by BBW offers pre and post-natal courses. These courses are tailored to suit the needs of mothers and provide numerous benefits, including reducing high blood pressure, improving mood, reducing lower back pain, improving digestion, and enhancing core stability. The courses focus on breath work, posture, pelvic floor exercises, and appropriate strength and endurance Pilates movements to keep mothers strong during and after their pregnancy. These courses also create a safe space for mothers to connect with like-minded individuals in their area.
Babies up to crawling age are welcome to attend the Mummy & Baby Course.
