Susan, our exceptional Pilates instructor, offers one-to-one and two-to-one Pilates sessions at her studio in South Normanton or in the comfort of your own home in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. With years of experience and a passion for Pilates, Susan started practising in 1996 after facing her own back issue, which ultimately led her to becoming a Pilates teacher.
What sets Susan's sessions apart is the personalised approach. Each session is tailored to meet the individual's needs, focusing on the fundamental principles of breath, concentration, alignment, coordination, precision, flow, centring, and control.
To facilitate the correction of imbalances and realign the body, Susan uses the reformer, a higher-than-average Pilates apparatus, which provides additional support during movements. This allows for a more effective workout with noticeable results. Additionally, small equipment is incorporated to provide feedback to the body and enhance proprioception.
For those interested, the pricing for one-to-one sessions is £35 per one-hour session. Two-to-one sessions are priced at £45. We also offer an “Introduction to Pilates” package for £50, which includes two 45-minute sessions and a complimentary home exercise plan.
