Led by Luke, our experienced and friendly instructor, these Pilates classes are the perfect way to start your fitness journey. Luke will guide you through the exercises with clear instructions, making it easy to follow along and understand. With small class sizes, you'll receive personalised attention and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Pilates, developed by Joseph Pilate in the 1920s, focuses on six fundamental principles: Control, Concentration, Centering, Breathing, Flow, and Precision. It's a workout that can be done at your own pace, timed with your breath. Many healthcare professionals recommend Pilates for its emphasis on spinal alignment and support.
At Club-K, we offer two types of Pilates classes. Our traditional Mat-based Pilates class is perfect for those looking for a well-rounded workout. And if you have back issues such as sciatica or low back pain, our back care class is designed just for you. These classes are available on Mondays and Thursdays and cost £12.50 per class or can be included in your membership.
If you're looking for a more structured and in-depth Pilates experience, we have you covered. Club-K offers Pilates mini ball and back care Pilates courses that run for 14 weeks. With limited class sizes of up to 12 people, you'll receive individual attention and precision. Our mini ball course focuses on strengthening and stretching exercises using a mini ball, while our back care course provides education on anatomy, common back issues, and strategies for pain relief. Both courses cost £99 and are held on Mondays or Thursdays.
