Dance Foundation is excited to promote a local contemporary dance event in Clacton-on-Sea! If you're interested in exploring the world of contemporary dance, this event is perfect for you.
Led by Amanda and Vanessa, who are both highly qualified Pilates instructors and Licentiate members of the Royal Academy of Dance, this event offers Pilates classes for adults in the community. The focus is on building flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in various parts of the body. You'll learn all about spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing techniques, and developing a strong core.
No matter your age, fitness level, or gender, Pilates is suitable for everyone. It not only helps keep your spine healthy but also improves your posture and strengthens the deep intrinsic muscles that support the spine. So, whether you're a dancer or someone looking to enhance your physical well-being, these classes are perfect for you.
The classes take place in our modern, purpose-built studios and are tailored to meet the needs and abilities of each participant. You'll receive personalised attention and guidance throughout your journey.
To ensure everyone's safety during these challenging times, we kindly ask participants to bring their own mats and clean them regularly. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe and healthy environment for all.
Currently, bookings for the current block of classes are closed until February 23, 2024. However, if you're interested in joining for the next block of classes, please email us at Dance Foundation with your preferred day and time, as well as an alternative option. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to reach out soon.
The price per class is £8.00 for one class per week and £7.50 for two classes per week. Classes are booked in blocks of 6–8 weeks, giving you ample time to immerse yourself in the practice and experience significant fitness benefits.
Unfortunately, we do not offer trial lessons due to the nature of our booking system. However, we assure you that committing to these classes will be a worthwhile investment in your physical well-being.
