Pike Fold Golf Club has a rich history, having been founded in 1909 on the site of Tweedale Hill Farm. In 1920, the club moved to Henshalls Farm and remained there until 1998, when it was forced to close to accommodate the M60 motorway. The present course was opened in 1999 on Back O'th Moss Farm and has received exceptional reviews. The new 18-hole course opened in the Spring of 2008 and has further enhanced the club's reputation.
