Phoenix Gymnastics Centre Park West is one of Ireland's leading gymnastics clubs, offering classes for members of all ages from 6 months to adults. With two full-time, state-of-the-art training centres located in Park West and Tallaght, Phoenix Gymnastics Centre provides daily classes in General Gymnastics to cater to all levels, from beginners to international level gymnasts.
The General Gymnastics sessions are available for children aged 4 to 16 years, where gymnasts have access to Olympic standard equipment and are supervised by fully qualified and Garda Vetted coaches. The progressive training programme focuses on building and improving basic gymnastics skills while ensuring a fun and engaging environment. Children in these sessions work towards specific goals each term, such as the Phoenix Show, Phoenix Badge Scheme, or the Annual Club Competition, the 'Phoenix Shield'.
In addition to General Gymnastics, Phoenix Gymnastics Centre also offers Adult Gymnastics sessions suitable for complete beginners or former gymnasts. These sessions are coach-led and provide specific advice to help participants learn new skills or improve strength and fitness. The club also has Competitive Programmes for gymnasts selected through trials or by invitation, with training hours ranging from 6 to 15 hours per week and opportunities to represent the club at national and international competitions.
For younger children, Phoenix Gymnastics Centre offers Pre-School Gymnastics classes for ages 6 months to 4 years.
