Phoenix Dance Queensland was born in 2016. Sophie and Bonnie decided to create their own dance school to share their love of Irish dance and their knowledge and experience with aspiring young dancers. Alongside their mother, Pauline, who is also a school teacher, they formed Phoenix Dance QLD as a family school.
At Phoenix Dance QLD, the teachers, Miss Sophie and Miss Bonnie, who are both experienced and accomplished dancers themselves, understand the dedication and hard work required to excel in Irish dance. They have competed and performed all over Australia and the world, both as solo dancers and members of teams. Miss Sophie has even toured professionally across Europe with the renowned performance company Celtic Legends. With their wealth of experience, they bring a unique combination of passion, expertise, and love for teaching to every class.
