Protocols during these challenging times. We are pleased to announce that we are officially COVID safe!
Located just 1. 5 hours from Sydney or Canberra, Pheasant Wood Circuit is a motorsport facility that caters to all racing enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of traditional Australian bushland, our track is a wide, beautiful, and undulating masterpiece. With multiple viewing platforms, spectators can get up close and personal with the action, making for an exhilarating experience.
At Pheasant Wood Circuit, we believe in the importance of learning essential skills for road safety. That's why we offer a Learner Driver programme that invites both parents and teenagers aged 12 years and above to learn how to drive together. We understand that learning to drive can be daunting, and our programme aims to build confidence and capability for both parents and learners.
Our facility is also available for private hire, making it the perfect venue for your next event. Whether you want to organise a private track hire for you and your friends, a team bonding day, a new product launch, or a special event for your VIP customers or suppliers, our experienced team will work with you to bring your vision to life. In addition to the challenging international standard racetrack, we also offer a 4×4 course and dirt trails that are suitable for Mountain Bike or Running events.
For those seeking grassroots racing at its finest, we proudly host the Deputy 4 Hour. It's four hours of non-stop fun, with eight rounds per year and plenty of chances to win silverware. The Deputy 4 Hour is considered the best value motor racing in Australia and requires two or more mates, a four-seat car produced between 1986-2009 with an engine capacity of 2 litres or less. You'll also need a roll cage and four-point racing harness to participate.
The name “Pheasant Wood” holds a deep significance to us. It pays tribute to Corporal Herbert Thomas Bolt, also known as “Nutsy,” who was Steve Shelley's great-grandfather. Nutsy fought bravely alongside his fellow heroes during World War I and sadly lost his life in the Battle of Fromelles. Nutsy's brave and valiant spirit inspired us to name our track “Pheasant Wood” in his memory.
At Pheasant Wood Circuit, community safety is of utmost importance to us. We continuously strive to go above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of our patrons. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our drivers and spectators, past, present, and future, for their unwavering support and adherence to our safety protocols. Together, we can create unforgettable racing experiences in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Join us at Pheasant Wood Circuit and experience the thrill of motorsport in the heart of Australian bushland.
