The Sandhurst Club, a Golf club situated in the beautiful town of Sandhurst, Victoria, is thrilled to announce the upcoming local Golf event for PGA Academy Coaching. This event is a fantastic opportunity for passionate golfers to take their game to the next level with the help of our esteemed PGA Golf Performance Program.
The program, spanning over a 1-year duration, focuses on nurturing and honing the skills of single-figure handicap golfers, enabling them to flourish both on and off the course. It offers a wide range of specific outcomes tailored to the needs of each individual golfer.
At the heart of the program lies face-to-face training, encompassing interactive and golf-specific lectures and workshops. These sessions are meticulously designed to enhance the golf performance of our students. To ensure maximum engagement and progress, students are expected to attend at least 80% of the lectures. Our training schedule is jam-packed, with lectures and squad practice sessions held four days a week, from Monday to Thursday, carefully planned around the tournament schedule.
Speaking of tournaments, our program boasts an impressive array of competitive events. These include 12 x 54-hole tournaments, 2 x 72-hole tournaments, as well as multiple 18-hole and 36-hole matches. Scheduled between Monday and Wednesday, these tournaments offer our students a unique opportunity to gauge their skills under tournament conditions, fostering growth and improvement.
The Sandhurst Club, renowned for its excellence in golfing facilities, serves as the perfect training venue for the program. Nestled in Melbourne, Victoria, our club boasts 36 holes of championship golf, complemented by a practice fairway, a short game area, and two sizable putting greens. Over the years, the Sandhurst Club has played host to numerous prestigious PGA events, cementing its reputation as a premier golfing destination.
We are thrilled to announce that our Golf Performance Program has four intake dates in 2024, each encompassing a term of either 9 or 11 weeks. This ensures flexibility in scheduling for our diverse range of students. The program warmly welcomes both domestic and international applicants who meet our entry requirements. To be considered, interested individuals must be at least 18 years old and possess a GA golf handicap of 9 or less.
