About

The Dayboro Swimming Pool, a popular Fitness club in Moreton Bay Regional, is excited to promote an upcoming local Fitness event that is sure to get players jumping with excitement. In a fantastic collaboration, the Council has teamed up with the Caboolture Sports Club (CSC), as well as the Federal and State Governments, to construct a brand new rugby union and touch football facility at the Petersen Road Sports Ground in Morayfield. This impressive $6.15 million project aims to cater to the needs of almost 2,000 local players who currently utilise the existing facility.

Thanks to the Council's valuable sports infrastructure partnership with the Caboolture Sports Club, which boasts an impressive portfolio of 10 leases and 22 sports field permits across nine Council sports venues, this new facility is set to make a huge impact on the local sporting community. With its state-of-the-art features, including a sparkling new clubhouse, four multipurpose change rooms, top-notch amenities, a modern kitchen, spacious viewing decks, and even tiered seating, this facility is designed to take the rugby union and touch football experience to a whole new level.

One of the most exciting aspects of this project is its dedication to supporting the growth of the Caboolture Snakes Rugby Union Club and the Caboolture Touch Association. By providing an inclusive environment that caters to the increasing number of women participating in rugby union and touch football, these clubs are working towards fostering a strong sense of community and encouraging more individuals to engage in these exhilarating sports. Moreover, this facility will serve as a valuable pathway for aspiring juniors, offering them the chance to follow their dreams and potentially represent Australia on a grand stage one day.

The success of this project would not have been possible without the generous support from both the Federal Government and the State Government. Their commitment to investing in the social fabric of the region through community and sporting facilities is truly commendable, and the impact of their support will be seen and felt for years to come.

So, if you're a fitness enthusiast or simply looking for a new sporting adventure, mark your calendars and get ready to show off your skills at the exciting upcoming fitness event at the Petersen Road Sports Ground. Make sure to spread the word among your friends, family, and teammates. This is an opportunity you won't want to miss!
