Perthville Village Square Sports Courts

Is made, you can visit Metro Perthville on the day of your hire to make your payment. Please note that only cash payments are accepted. After making your payment, you will be able to collect the key for the court. It is important to return the key as soon as possible after your hire.

A non-return fee of $50 will be charged for lost keys.

The tennis court can be hired for $5. 00 per hour, while the multipurpose court without the tennis net is also available for community use but can be hired on request.

The Perthville Village Square Sports Courts are the only hard courts in the Bathurst region. They can be used for tennis, netball, basketball, and handball. However, no other ball sports, including hockey, are allowed. Bicycles and skateboards are also not permitted on the courts.

Smoking, eating, and drinking (except water) are prohibited on the courts, including the use of BBQs. Alcohol consumption is also not allowed during court hire. Additionally, no animals are allowed on the court precinct.

Players are not expected to sweep the courts after use. However, if you would like to play on a freshly swept court, you are encouraged to sweep your court at the start of your court time. A broom will be provided on site.

Users of the Perthville Village Square Sports Courts must conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Abusive language or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. It is also important to be considerate of those living near the courts and keep noise levels at a respectable level. Noise should be limited before 9 am each morning.

Hirers are asked to be respectful and adhere to the operating hours of the courts. It is significant to vacate your court promptly when your time is up and return the key to Metro Perthville. Additionally, please ensure that the court is left tidy, with all garbage properly disposed of in the provided bin. If the bin is full, please take any rubbish home with you.

The bin should always remain inside the court precinct unless it has been put out for garbage collection.
