Welcome to Combat Defence Systems Perth Martial Arts & Self Defence Academy, the premier Mixed Martial Arts club in Cockburn Central. At Combat Defence Systems, we are proud to offer a diverse and challenging curriculum that draws inspiration from Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do (JKD). In fact, we are the only accredited Martial Arts Academy in Perth with certified instructors under Guro Dan Inosanto and the Inosanto International Martial Arts Instructors Association.
Under the guidance of these esteemed instructors, we teach a range of Martial Arts disciplines, including Muay Thai Kickboxing, Kali (a Filipino Art also known as Escrima or Arnis), Silat, Combat Submission Wrestling (Mixed no Gi grappling which also includes BJJ), and Jun Fan / Jeet Kune Do Concepts. We believe in the benefit of being well-rounded in all aspects of Martial Arts, which is why our classes provide training in weapons, empty hands, joint locking, breaks, sweeps, and submissions.
We understand that starting something new can be intimidating, which is why we offer a free trial class for you to experience firsthand the quality and expertise of our training. But it's not just adults who can benefit from our classes. We also offer martial arts classes specifically designed for children aged 4 to 13 years old. Our Little Lions (4-6yrs) classes focus on building foundational skills and confidence, while our Junior JKD (7-13yrs) classes offer self-defence training based on our adult JKD / Kali curriculum. Additionally, our Junior Muay Thai Kickboxing (7-13yrs) classes are suitable for both self-defence and sports applications, incorporating punches, kicks, knees, and elbows.
