Peregian Tennis Club is a thriving tennis club located in the beautiful Peregian Beach of Queensland, Australia. Established in 1980 by a group of tennis-loving families, our not-for-profit club has been providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for tennis enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.
Managed by a dedicated volunteer management committee, our club boasts three well-maintained courts that are open for play all year round. To ensure a convenient booking process, we have implemented an online court booking system that allows members and visitors to secure their preferred playing times. Payment for court hire can be made directly to our court manager, Andrew Veale, who is always available to answer any queries or provide assistance.
One of the highlights of our club is the strong and loyal membership base, with approximately 150 members, including seniors well into their 80s. We also enjoy the support and attendance of members' families and friends, as well as players from other clubs and holidaymakers. This creates a vibrant and friendly atmosphere both on and off the courts.
We offer a wide range of regular activities to cater to the diverse interests of our members. These include in-house evening competitions for players of all ages, daytime coach-and-play sessions for children, coaching sessions for adults of all skill levels, social daytime tennis for seniors, and a Friday afternoon junior competition. We are also affiliated with the Noosa District Tennis Association and participate in their children's competition.
Located within the peaceful Rufous street community-precinct, our tennis club is conveniently situated opposite the Peregian Village Square, beach, and the Peregian Beach Surf Club. Our neighbourhood consists of various community facilities, such as the Peregian Community Kindy, the Peregian Veggie Village and Food Co-op, Di Hirst Oval, the Peregian Community House, and the site of the Peregian Bowls Club. The stunning Noosa National Park wallum bushland borders our precinct, providing a picturesque natural backdrop.
Whether you're a local resident, a visitor, or a holidaymaker, Peregian Tennis Club welcomes you to join us for a game of tennis. Membership is not mandatory, but there are numerous benefits to becoming a member, including access to discounted court hire rates and participation in our club activities. We also emphasise the importance of adhering to COVID-19 guidelines and request that all visitors sign in with the Check in Qld App.
