Kevin is keen to highlight that Penarth Cricket Club is a welcoming and progressive club located in the Vale of Glamorgan near Cardiff. With a variety of teams for men, women, and juniors (from Under 9s to Under 19s), the club offers opportunities for cricketers of all ages and abilities.
Penarth CC is particularly proud of its 1st XI, which competes in the South Wales League 2nd Division, demonstrating the club’s commitment to high-quality cricket. The club has been awarded the Club Mark by the ECB, a testament to its excellence in junior development and high standards. As a Focus Club with Wales Cricket Board, Penarth CC continues to improve its facilities and coaching programmes.
The club values community engagement and inclusivity, encouraging all members to join one of the seven working teams: senior cricket, junior cricket, safeguarding, funding, communications, secretariat & finance, and grounds and athletic club.
