Led by Chief Instructor Richard (Taff) Owens, our staff brings a wealth of high-performance sailing experience and instruction to PPSA. Coach Owens has gained valuable expertise through his association with the Army Sailing Association, the Laser 5000 Class Association, and RYA Cymru/Wales. With over 15 years of experience competing at European and National levels, Coach Owens is a skilled and experienced powerboat trainer as well.
As the leading RYA Training Centre in East Llanion, PPSA offers a diverse range of training programmes. In addition to keelboat sailing, powerboat, and shorebased courses, our coaching team is also able to deliver elements of the RYA Dinghy Instructor pathway and Powerboat Instructor training. We focus on effective communication, building strong client/instructor relationships, and delivering professional and effective instruction to ensure an optimal learning experience.
