Accept "IntersectionObserver”in Pearlgate Track and Field Club is dedicated to providing a world-class athletic facility for the community of Mount Pearl and beyond. The facility boasts an eight-lane, 400-meter polyurethane track, concrete throwing circles, and polyurethane areas for high jump, long jump, pole vault, and javelin. The complex overlooks Mount Pearl, the Narrows, and areas of St.
John's, offering a stunning backdrop for training, competition, and community events.
Operated by a volunteer Board of Management, Pearlgate Track and Field Club was constructed in 1988 for the Newfoundland & Labrador Summer Games. The two-story multipurpose building includes washroom and shower facilities, a first aid room, storage room, and a multipurpose room that can accommodate up to 100 people. The upstairs area features washroom and kitchen facilities, stereo and p. a.
systems, and a large patio with a barbecue overlooking the track and field.
The club offers a variety of programs for athletes of all ages and skill levels, including Run Jump Throw Wheel for ages 5-8, Junior Development Summer Program for ages 9-12, Intro Cross Country Program, Intro Indoor Track Program, Competitive Programs for both indoor and summer, a Masters Group for adult athletes, and Non-affiliated Facility Memberships. These programs are designed to help athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive and inclusive environment.
