Pche sur Glace Duchesnay

“Pche sur Glace Duchesnay” is a fishing charter located in Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, offering a unique ice fishing experience on Lac St-Joseph. The charter operates from January 27th to March 10th, 2024, with fishing hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays to Fridays and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays. Weekly restocking of speckled trout ensures a thrilling fishing adventure for all participants.

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed at the trailer near Baie Duchesnay to register and receive their fishing equipment. Live bait is available on-site, but anglers are welcome to bring their own preferred bait. Don't forget to bring a cooler or bags to take home your catch! A valid fishing permit is required, which can be purchased from a participating vendor or on-site.

The charter offers various fishing packages, including a family package for $30, a couple package for $25, and an individual package for $20. Additionally, a seasonal pass is available for $220 per adult, including a membership card. A new Deluxe Tent package is introduced for 2024 at $80, with a $200 deposit required. Each package has a limit of 15 trout per day.

As a non-profit organization, all proceeds from the charter are reinvested in restocking and operational expenses. The charter strictly enforces fishing regulations, allowing the catch of speckled trout and cisco while prohibiting the fishing of lake trout and bass during this period.
