Welcome to Parkstone Karate, a martial arts school located in Poole, New Zealand. We have experienced and highly qualified instructors who are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.
Sensei Andy Barber, a 5th Dan black belt and the founder of Parkstone Karate, has a wealth of experience in martial arts. He has studied Takemusu Iwama Aikido and goju ryu karate under renowned instructors and has achieved a 5th Dan black belt. Sensei Andy believes that karate training not only enhances physical fitness but also develops essential life skills such as self-confidence, determination, and the ability to make the right decisions.
In addition to Sensei Andy, we have a team of assistant instructors who are equally passionate about teaching karate. Sensei Christopher Walker, a 5th Dan black belt, has been part of Parkstone Karate since 2015. He is highly skilled and has trained under Sensei Ernie Molyneux. Sensei Megan Barber, a 3rd Dan black belt, joined Parkstone Karate in 2004 and has since become an assistant instructor.
Sensei Simon Patterson, a 2nd Dan black belt, joined the school in 2011 and has also become an assistant instructor.
Our training facility is located at the Guide Hall on Langdon Road in Poole. We offer group classes and private lessons, catering to the individual needs and goals of our students.
