Whether you're just starting out or aiming for the top, Parkmore Netball Club provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
For young aspiring netball players aged 5-10, Parkmore Netball Club offers the Woolworths NetSetGO programme. This programme serves as the official starter programme for girls and boys, allowing them to learn the basics of netball, make new friends, and have fun while gaining valuable skills. Divided into three tiers – Net, Set, and GO – the programme caters to different age groups and experience levels. Led by friendly netball coaches and equipped with specially designed equipment for kids, Woolworths NetSetGO is the perfect introduction to netball.
Parkmore Netball Club also provides opportunities for individuals interested in umpiring. The club fields umpires for each week's games and offers comprehensive training and mentoring for aspiring umpires. Prospective umpires participate in the HAT (Have A Try) programme at Whitehorse, where they are taught the skills required to control and umpire netball games. Once the HAT programme is completed, the club provides further training and mentorship until umpires are ready to be tested for their VNA Umpire Badge.
To ensure a sense of unity and identity, Parkmore Netball Club encourages all teams to wear the club's official uniform. Most teams wear a uniform top paired with a red skirt or shorts. The tops can be purchased through the club, while any red skirt/skort or red shorts without pockets are acceptable. For the senior teams, an A-line dress is available and can be ordered through the club.
Additionally, the club offers hoodie orders once a year for those who want to show their Parkmore pride off the court.
