Gary would like to share some exciting information about Parkfield Archers & Parkfield Hotshots, a welcoming archery club situated in the lovely village of Wimblington, just a short distance from March in Cambridgeshire. The club is part of The Parkfield Sports Club, which boasts excellent outdoor facilities and a fantastic indoor spot for post-archery socialising.
Parkfield Archers welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to advanced shooters. Gary and the team offer coaching, advice, and assistance in all things archery. They run beginner courses throughout the year, especially focusing on the summer months.
The club caters to archers of all ages and abilities, with attention to ensuring disabled access at regular venues. Individual and family enquiries are welcome at any session, through Facebook, or via email. Gary also invites schools, clubs, and organisations to arrange archery sessions for fun or team-building.
During the summer (April to September), the club shoots outdoors three times a week at The Parkfield Sports Club—Tuesday and Friday evenings from 18:00 to 20:00, and Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00. In the winter (October to March), the club moves indoors on most Friday evenings from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Manea Royal British Legion Club. There are also Saturday indoor shoots with varying times at the Neale-Wade Academy Sports Centre in March. Sunday morning outdoor shoots continue at The Parkfield Sports Club regardless of the season.
Remember, all shooting sessions are weather permitting, but cancellations are rare thanks to the members' dedication and commitment.
For the latest updates and member-exclusive content, members can log in to the club website with their username and password.
