About

And Anne Seymour, Park Farm Holidays is a unique feature of Park Farm Riding School. They offer a range of school holiday activities for children, including pony club achievement badges, summer camps, and birthday rides. The holidays are designed to be fun and educational, providing children with the opportunity to further develop their riding skills and knowledge.

Park Farm Riding School is run by experienced and qualified coaches. Anne Seymour, who holds a BHSAI APC Stage 3 coaching qualification and a degree in Education, plans well-structured and varied lessons that ensure real progress for riders. The lessons are taught through games to make learning fun and engaging. Each lesson focuses on a specific topic, and the topics are changed every two weeks to keep things interesting.

One of the highlights of the riding school is the regular hacking opportunities provided for riders of all levels. Starting with half-hour hacks with a leader, riders can progress to longer and faster hacks as their skills improve. Safety is a top priority, and riders are required to wear safety riding hats and body protectors. These can be hired at the school for a small fee.

The Stable Management Club (SMC) at Park Farm Riding School is a popular feature among regular riders aged 10 and above. The club offers comprehensive horsecare education, with children learning all aspects of horse care and gaining increasing independence as their confidence grows. SMC members have the opportunity to work towards ABRS and BHS qualifications. In fact, the riding school achieved 1st place in the UK in 2022 for Equestrian Horse Care Awards.

For more adventurous riders, Park Farm Riding School offers jumping lessons. Competent riders have the opportunity to practise jumping in the sand school and, weather permitting, in the adjacent field. Pony Club Silver Award riders can also begin their cross-country jumping adventures on the training jumps in the field. For those looking for a more exciting challenge, Denne Hill Cross Country Course, located just 8 miles away, offers a four-mile course with a wide variety of jumps and an impressive water complex.

Park Farm Riding School is fully licenced, insured, and an approved member of The Association of British Riding Schools and the approved Pony Club Centre. They prioritise the safety and well-being of their riders and offer a range of services and activities to promote a positive and enjoyable riding experience for all. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, Park Farm Riding School provides a welcoming and nurturing environment to educate and inspire riders of all ages and abilities.
