A Committee elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The Committee shall consist of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and other members as deemed necessary by the Club. The Committee shall have the power to co-opt additional members onto the Committee if needed. The Committee shall meet regularly to discuss and make decisions on behalf of the Club.
The Committee shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Club, including but not limited to organising fixtures, managing finances, and ensuring the smooth running of the Club. 6. FINANCES The Club's financial year shall run from 1 st July to 30 th June. The Club shall maintain accurate financial records and prepare annual financial statements.
The Treasurer shall present the financial statements at the AGM for approval by the members. The Club's funds shall be used for the benefit of the Club and its members. Any surplus funds shall be reinvested into the Club for the betterment of its facilities, equipment, and programmes. Members shall be required to pay membership fees and any other fees or levies as determined by the Committee.
Failure to pay fees may result in the suspension or termination of membership. 7. DISCIPLINE The Club shall have the power to discipline members who breach the Club's rules, code of conduct, or ethical framework. Disciplinary action may include warnings, fines, suspension, or expulsion from the Club.
Any member who is subject to disciplinary action shall have the right to appeal the decision at a specially convened meeting of the Committee. The Club shall strive to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all members, free from discrimination, harassment, and bullying. 8. AMENDMENTS Any amendments to the Constitution and Rules of the Club shall be approved by a two-thirds majority vote at a General Meeting.
Amendments may be proposed by the Committee or by a member of the Club in writing to the Secretary. Suggested amendments shall be circulated to all members at least two weeks before the General Meeting at which they will be considered. The Constitution and Rules shall be reviewed periodically to ensure they remain relevant and effective in governing the Club.
