Just a quick shoutout from Tim, your friendly organiser at Papakura Sea Eagles Rugby League Club 🦅. We’re pumped to kick off another fantastic season in the Auckland Rugby League competitions.
We've got teams for everyone—from the little ones in MiniMod to the seasoned players. The rugby league season runs from the first Saturday of April through to August 8th, and we wrap up with grand finals towards the end of August, depending on the grade.
Player registrations are officially open! Whether you’re new or returning, it’s time to sign up. Just head over to our website and hit that “SIGN UP TO PLAY” button. For those who’ve played with us before, check your emails for re-registration info—don’t forget to get it sorted by the deadlines.
You can pop by the club any Tuesday or Thursday evening between 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm to complete your registration. The fee is $50 per player, but for the Prems and Reserves squad, it’s $100. Got a big family? Families with three or more players can grab our Family 3+ discount. We accept cash and EFTPOS at the clubrooms.
Junior registrations usually run from mid-Feb to mid-March. For the Under 6 grades, kids turning 5 anytime in 2021 qualify. New players will need to upload a birth certificate or passport—it’s stored securely, no worries. Junior fees are $50 per player.
Seniors, your team manager will handle registrations during training. And for the young refs out there, if you’re 15-17 years old, consider joining our Junior Mini/Mod referee programme.
