The community has been reaffirmed through our partnerships with local hospitals, community groups, and special needs centres.
At Painting the Rainbow Tai Chi, we believe that Tai Chi and Qigong should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical or mental health. That's why we have designed a comprehensive programme that caters to individuals in all walks of life. We have specifically developed chair-based Tai Chi sessions, which serve as an excellent introduction for individuals of all levels. From there, participants progress through our Painting the Rainbow Tai Chi and Qigong programme, which includes seated chi-kung (Qigong) exercises and tai chi movements suitable for those with more mobility.
In addition to our regular classes, we also offer tailored sessions for various organisations and institutions. We partner with local hospitals to provide Tai Chi for rehabilitation to patients with conditions such as COPD, cardiac issues, rheumatology problems, and falls prevention. Furthermore, we conduct seated Tai Chi sessions for AgeUK, community groups, day centres, special needs centres, and schools, among others. These sessions are led by our team of male and female instructors, who are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our participants.
To support our programme, we have developed instructional materials, including a seated Tai Chi DVD, demonstration videos of chi-kung (Qigong) exercises, and Tai Chi form DVDs. These resources can be accessed on our website's video page, allowing individuals to continue practising and learning at their own pace.
As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, we provide regular free newsletters on Tai Chi and Qigong. These newsletters cover various topics related to the practise, offering valuable insights and advice. Individuals can download these newsletters from our website, and we also offer the option to subscribe to receive them directly.
Painting the Rainbow Tai Chi understands the importance of staff training, and we offer sessions tailored to the needs of organisations. By providing training for instructors and staff members, we believe it can be more cost-effective in the long run, ensuring that Tai Chi and Qigong can continue to benefit the community.
