This course is perfect for youth leaders and aspiring instructors who want to enhance their skills in organizing and managing canoe and coracle activities.
Participants can look forward to learning about activity planning, equipment selection, paddling techniques, group management on water, and safety protocols. The session will include practical demonstrations on canoe handling, paddling techniques, group coordination, and canoe-specific games. After a short break, participants will also receive training on using Coracles, which require specific handling techniques.
Just a heads up - this course won't extensively cover rescue techniques, so we recommend that participants have some prior knowledge.
