The Oxford School of Ballet, established in 1978, is a renowned ballet school located in Oxford, New Zealand. With a strong emphasis on classical ballet, the school offers classes to boys and girls aged 3 to 18 years old. In addition, they provide adult ballet classes catering to beginners as well as advanced level students.

The school's main location is on the Woodstock Road in Oxford, and they will be expanding to Deddington in North Oxfordshire in 2021.
At the Oxford School of Ballet, they follow the syllabuses of the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Students have the opportunity to take accredited examinations, although participation is not compulsory. The school offers a comprehensive range of classes, including Pre School Ballet for children aged 3 to 5 years, Pre-Primary Ballet, Primary Ballet, Grades 1 to 8, Vocational Exams (Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced Foundation, Advanced 1, and Advanced 2), Boys Ballet, Pointe Work, and Adult Beginners and Advanced classes.
Classes are held at various locations, including the Church of St Gregory and St Augustine in Oxford, Duns Tew Village Hall, and The Windmill Centre in Deddington. Examinations are held at the Woodstock Community Hall.
When it comes to term dates, the school operates on term blocks of 11 weeks with a one-week half-term break. Fees are paid for the full term or the remaining weeks upon enrolment. The Autumn Term for 2023 consists of 6 weeks of lessons starting on the week of 11th-16th September, followed by a half-term break on the week of 23rd-29th October. The term concludes with 5 weeks of lessons ending on the week of 27th November – 3rd December.
Similar arrangements are made for the Spring and Summer terms of 2024.
The dedicated team of teachers, pianists, assistants, and volunteers at the Oxford School of Ballet are all in possession of a valid DBS check. The school's faculty includes Principal Esme Calcutt, Mary Colegrove, Judith Licence, Natalie Strike, and Sakeena Reynolds.
