Queenford Lakes Water Sports Centre is excited to announce the reopening of Oxford Wet 'n' Wild, our adrenaline-pumping aqua park! Get ready to dive into a world of fun and adventure starting from May 25, 2024.
To ensure the safety of all participants, there are a few rules that everyone must follow. We ask that children under the care of parents or guardians watch our safety briefing video, accept the rules, and sign the waiver. Safety first, folks!
To gain entry, make sure you have your trusty wristband with you. This will be checked at the entrance, so don't forget it! Please note that the minimum age to join in the excitement is 6 years old, and you must be over 1.2 meters in height. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident in the water, so being able to swim 25 meters unaided is a must.
While you're out there conquering our thrilling obstacles, it's important to wear a buoyancy aid throughout the session. Safety is key! Helmets are optional but recommended, especially for our participants under 16 years old.
If you're bringing little ones between the ages of 6 and 8, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the inflatables. One adult can supervise up to 3 children, so everyone can have a blast together.
Keep in mind that our floating entrance/exit dock can be a bit shallow, so exercise caution when using it. Tuck those feet in while you jump to avoid any unwanted injuries. We're all about safety here!
Speaking of safety, we want everyone to have a fantastic time while being respectful of others on the park. Please report any accidents or concerns to our amazing lifeguards immediately. They're here to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
In order to keep everyone safe, we kindly ask that participants under the influence of alcohol, medication, or drugs do not enter the Aqua Park. Let's keep the fun going without any unnecessary risks.
Remember, diving under the obstacles is strictly prohibited due to the risk of drowning. Keep those flips for another time and enter feet first, making sure the area below is clear.
One particular obstacle, our Blast Bag, requires some extra caution. Be mindful and take care to prevent any possible injury.
Before you jump in, remember to remove all jewellery and footwear. Goggles are not permitted, so put those snorkels away for another adventure.
For our pregnant friends out there, we advise against entering the Aqua Park as a precaution. Safety is our top priority.
In the event of an emergency, three whistles will be blown. If you hear this signal, immediately stop, sit down, and follow the instructions given by our trusted lifeguards. Your safety is our utmost concern.
We want everyone to enjoy all the excitement and thrills our aqua park has to offer. However, please be aware that our management and lifeguards have the authority to expel participants from the park without offering a refund if any rules are broken. Let's all play by the rules and have a blast together!
If you have any further questions or need more information, please check out our FAQ page on our website. You can also get in touch with us through the provided contact form or give us a call. We're here to help!
So get ready, folks. Let's make a splash at Oxford Wet 'n' Wild! We can't wait to see you all there for an unforgettable day of water-filled fun.
