Over Cricket Club

Over Cricket Club, based in Cambridge, is a welcoming spot for cricket enthusiasts of all ages across Over, Swavesey, and nearby villages. Ben, the dedicated Youth Cricket Coordinator, ensures everyone can join in, no matter their skill level.

Boasting a Clubmark accreditation since 2008, Over CC focuses on nurturing young talent and offering a great experience for kids and newcomers. Throughout summer, Ben leads practice and coaching sessions tailored for all age groups, aiming to enhance players' skills and understanding of the game.

For the little ones, Over CC takes part in the ECB's 'All-Stars' programme, a fun-filled introduction to cricket for children aged 5–8. For older players, there are two weekend teams competing in the CCA Junior Leagues and a mid-week team in the Cambridgeshire Business House League.

Despite the challenges of 2020, Over CC stood tall. They offered online tips, training bubbles, and set up multiple matches for both men’s and youth teams. Their website is a hub for updates, team profiles, stats, and news—keeping everyone in the loop.
