Oval Ski Club is a friendly ski club located in Wirral, offering skiing tuition to individuals of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced skier seeking to improve your skills, Oval Ski Club has something to offer you.

In addition to skiing lessons, the club organises various social events throughout the year, providing an opportunity for members to get to know each other. Furthermore, the club arranges an annual discounted club holiday to popular ski resorts in Europe.

The club boasts a dedicated Race Team, who participate in regional and national races at different ski slopes. The team comprises skiers of all ages, ensuring that everyone has the chance to engage in competitive skiing if desired.

Established in 1981, Oval Ski Club operates on a not-for-profit basis, with all funds being reinvested into the maintenance and upkeep of the club and equipment. The club is run by a committee of volunteers, who are elected on an annual basis.

The dry ski slope of Oval Ski Club is conveniently located behind the Oval Leisure Centre in Bebington, Wirral. This location is easily accessible for individuals residing in Wirral, Cheshire, Liverpool, and Merseyside areas.

The club offers skiing sessions for both juniors and adults. Junior club sessions take place on Saturdays, with beginners starting at 10 am and intermediates/advanced skiers from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. For the younger ones under the age of 5, sessions can be booked in advance. Adult club sessions are held on Sundays, with beginners from 4 pm to 5 pm, and improvers from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Open practise, with coaching available, is also conducted from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm.

To become a member of Oval Ski Club, individuals are required to complete an online membership form or download and print the forms and bring them to their first session. Junior membership costs 10 per year.
