Link Health and Fitness, a prominent Fitness club located in Auckland, is excited to announce an upcoming fitness event that is sure to capture the attention of interested players. This event showcases our commitment to providing top-notch health and fitness services to the Auckland community.
We are proud to introduce the internationally recognised Osteoarthritis program known as 'Gladly Living with Arthritis'. Developed by Professor Ewa M. Roos, this groundbreaking program has garnered recognition as the best first-line treatment for Osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. Notably, it has achieved remarkable success in Denmark, Switzerland, Canada, Austria, China, Australia, and now New Zealand.
Through a remarkable collaboration with Otago University, Link Health and Fitness is proud to be at the forefront of bringing this world-leading program to our community. The program spans over 8 weeks and consists of 14 comprehensive education and exercise classes. Each class is expertly conducted by a registered physiotherapist, ensuring the highest level of guidance and support for participants.
To provide a personalised experience and maintain the quality of instruction, we have limited the class size to a maximum of 5 participants per session. This small group setting creates an ideal environment for individual attention and tailored care.
To be eligible for participation, potential participants must meet the following criteria: be older than 45 years of age, experience morning joint stiffness, and have the primary joint affected as the hip or knee. These requirements are crucial to ensure that the program can effectively target the specific needs and challenges faced by individuals with Osteoarthritis.
For those who are interested and would like to learn more about this life-changing program or secure a spot on our waiting list, please take a moment to fill out the form provided below. Our team will promptly get in touch with you to discuss the next steps and answer any questions you may have.
