Welcome to Ormskirk and Rufford School of Dance! 🎉 Led by Principal Miss H Gossage, this established dance school in Ormskirk has been nurturing talent since 1962. Classes are available for everyone – from little ones at 2½ years old to adults. Sessions are held at two convenient locations: G. G. H. Q Green Lane and the G. Q. Moorgate.
There's something for everyone here, with classes covering Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Disco, Stretch and Tricks, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, and Competition Work. Students are prepared for exams with respected bodies like RAD, ISTD, and IDTA.
All teachers are qualified, CRB checked, and paediatric First Aid trained, ensuring a safe environment. As a proud arts partner with Ormskirk School, they are fully insured for student safety.
One of the highlights is their full school show every two years, giving students the chance to shine on stage. 🌟
Key dates for the summer term 2023:
- Start: Monday, 9th January
- Half-term: Week of 17th April
- End: Saturday, 15th July
- Summer half-term: Week of 29th May
Classes are organised by age and level, ensuring the right fit for everyone, from beginners to advanced dancers.
Punctuality and proper attire are important, with students expected in uniform and neatly tied hair. Safety and well-being are priorities – report any injuries or illnesses to your teacher, and avoid bringing valuables to class.
