Contacts What we believe At Orleton & District Junior Football Club, we believe in creating a positive and supportive environment where children can develop and improve their football skills. We are dedicated to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Our club operates on a not-for-profit basis and is entirely run by volunteers who are passionate about providing a safe and enjoyable football experience for children.
We have a strong sense of community and pride ourselves on being a friendly village club. Since our establishment in 1976, we have been an integral part of the local community, providing opportunities for children in Orleton and the surrounding villages to participate in organised football. Many of our players have gone on to play for our two adult teams or other local sides, which showcases the success of our development programme.
Currently, our club caters to children aged 5 to 12 years old. For children aged 4 and up, we offer basic skills training and friendly games when volunteers are available to supervise. Our various teams participate in the Herefordshire Junior Football League, providing a platform for our players to showcase their abilities in competitive matches.
We have a range of teams for different age groups, including Beginners Training (Crche Team), U6's, U7's, U8's, U9's, U10's, U11's, and U12's. Each team has a dedicated coach, who works tirelessly to provide skill development, guidance, and support to the players. Our coaching team consists of experienced individuals who are committed to the growth and success of our players.
The Orleton & District Junior Football Club is located at the Recreational Grounds adjacent to our village hall. It's a picturesque setting, perfect for children to enjoy the beautiful game. We also have plans to introduce a Wildcats Centre exclusively for girls' football, further expanding our club's inclusivity and diversity.
