Located in the Edward Woods Community Centre in London, Original Taekwondo Club offers a safe and friendly environment for individuals to learn and practise the art of Taekwondo. We are affiliated with the WTF (World Taekwondo Federation), ensuring that our students receive authentic and internationally recognised training. Taekwondo is not just a sport for us, but a way of life that promotes physical fitness, mental fortitude, and self-defence skills.

At Original Taekwondo Club, our classes are held in groups, allowing students to train and learn together. While we do not offer one-on-one training due to time constraints, we believe that training as a unit enhances camaraderie and fosters teamwork. Our classes incorporate various training methods such as principles, self-defence, sparring, patterns, fitness, breaking, theory, and fighting in competitions. By engaging in these diverse training methods, our students develop a well-rounded understanding and appreciation for Taekwondo.

Master Mohammad Mehdi Rahnama, a 7th Dan Taekwondo master, leads Original Taekwondo Club. With a background in Sport and Exercise Science and Sport Psychology, Master Rahnama possesses excellent teaching and technical skills. He has achieved numerous accolades in national and international competitions and has also refereed British students in international competitions. Master Rahnama emphasises self-defence, competition fighting, referee rules, and fitness in his teaching approach.

He also offers private training sessions upon consultation.

Original Taekwondo Club maintains strong partnerships with multiple Taekwondo bodies, allowing students access to a vast network of training resources and opportunities. Our students have the chance to participate in competitions every three months and continuously strive to progress to new belt rankings. We are proud of our students' achievements and celebrate their growth and success.
