Origami Rhythmics

Origami Rhythmics is a renowned Rhythmic Gymnastics Club located in Port Coquitlam, serving the Tri-Cities area, Burnaby, New Westminster, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and Langley. The club prides itself on providing equal opportunities to gymnasts of all levels, offering programs from Pre-K groups to Provincial and National levels. The mission of Origami Rhythmics is to foster a love for the beautiful sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics, facilitating holistic growth for each child physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually on their rhythmic journey.

Rhythmic Gymnastics is a unique Olympic sport that combines ballet and creative movements to music while performing with ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes, and clubs in a choreographed routine. Origami Rhythmics' programs are designed to allow children to develop rhythmic gymnastics skills at their own pace according to their age and abilities. The club encourages the enjoyment of physical activity, building self-confidence, performance improvement, and excellence in the sport.

Each year, gymnasts from Origami Rhythmics have the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments at various competitions, from local to international levels. For recreational level gymnasts, the club organizes family-friendly events such as the annual All Stars Invitational event and Christmas & Summer Shows. In addition, the gymnasts participate in dance shows, festivals, and other community events, showcasing their skills outside of the gym.

Origami Rhythmics also offers a Summer Day Camp Program during the warm summer months, providing a playful, fun, and engaging environment for gymnasts to improve their abilities. The club celebrates the achievements of all gymnasts twice a year with Summer & Winter Shows, giving them the chance to showcase their dance and gymnastics skills in front of a welcoming audience.
