Our aim is to help you reach your running goals and provide the support you need along the way. Our run coaches are not only qualified but also experienced and genuinely passionate about your progress. They are all first aid trained and have undergone DBS checks to ensure your safety.
We take pride in being the friendliest and most inclusive club in town. Regardless of your fitness level, you will be warmly welcomed into our community. We run several programmes throughout the year, including Couch to 5K, marathon, half-marathon, and 5K to 10K programmes. These programmes have seen hundreds of successful runners, and we are excited to welcome you to our club.
If you are new to running or have low levels of fitness, our Couch to 5K programme is perfect for you. This 9-week course allows you to gradually build your fitness levels and achieve your running goals. Our experienced run leaders will motivate and inspire you every step of the way.
We understand that starting something new can be intimidating, but rest assured that you will not be alone. Many of our members have started with no running experience and have successfully completed our programmes. You will have the opportunity to meet new running buddies who share the same goals as you.
Participating in our programmes comes at an affordable price. For just 20, you will receive the full 9-week course and ongoing support, including a finishers' medal. To secure your spot in the Couch to 5K programme, simply book through our website.
Additionally, we have various upcoming runs that you can book for free if you are a member. Pre-booking is preferred to manage leader availability and ensure a quick start to the session. It also allows us to have your emergency contact details and medical information readily available in case of any incidents. However, for regular club nights and some special events, booking is optional.
We kindly ask that you ensure you are symptom-free and have not been told to self-isolate due to COVID-19 before attending any sessions. If you have pre-booked but are unable to attend, please cancel your booking to allow others to take your place.
