Join Burlesque Rocks for online burlesque classes every Wednesday from 7pm. This class is perfect for beginners and intermediate burlesquers who want to bring their unique style to rock music. From rock 'n' roll to hair metal, from glam rock to 90s alternative rock, Little Lady Luscious adds her burlesque know-how to some classic rock tracks. Get ready to have fun and rock out! Heels are optional, but recommended. Make sure you have an even surface and enough space to strut and pose. All classes are friendly, and everyone can strut and pose with Luscious! After the free class, you have the option to pay a drop-in rate for full flexibility or purchase a 4-week or 6-week class pass. There is also the option to add on a pre-class stretch class. Prices range from £8 for a drop-in class to £40 for a 6-week class pass, and the stretch class is £2 for a drop-in. To join the class, you will receive a confirmation email upon payment with a Zoom meeting link, ID, and password. It is recommended to download the Zoom app prior to class.
The classes are taught by Emily, also known as Little Lady Luscious. She has been teaching burlesque since 2011 and has tailored these online classes for those who want to have fun and escape from the outside world. Emily is a certified dance teacher and has a foundation in Dance Movement Psychotherapy. She loves the freedom of expression in burlesque and wants to share her passion with you!
For the class, wear something comfortable and have a pair of heels handy, and be prepared for the possibility of using props. Please ensure that the space you use for the online class is suitable and safe, with enough room for you to move freely and without any obstacles or dangerous items.
