One Dance Creative Art Centre, located in West Vancouver, is a prestigious dance school and ballet company founded by Ciprian and Janet Stanulescu in January 2016. The aim of One Dance is to provide a unique platform for dancers to reach their maximum potential through rigorous training and dedication to the art of dance.
At One Dance, the curriculum is based on the renowned Russian Vaganova Methodology, as issued by the Russian Ministry of Education. This method is known for its precision, fluidity, and emphasis on developing strong technique and artistry in dancers.
The school offers a range of classes for all ages and levels, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. Additionally, One Dance has a Professional Training Program (PTP) for dancers who aspire to compete at a professional level. The PTP is divided into levels based on age, starting from Age 6-7 with preparatory technique and basic exercises, all the way up to Age 12-14 with intensifying the focus on demi-pointe work and advanced allegro exercises.
