Unreal Nature. Join the club! The Onaping Falls Nordics Ski Club, located in Onaping, offers an exceptional cross country skiing experience for both classic and skate-skiers. With over 15kms of pristine groomed trails winding through mature pine forests, members can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the North just a short distance from the city.

Situated almost 1300ft above sea-level and north-west of Sudbury Ontario, the club boasts the longest running skiing season in the region, staying open an average of two weeks longer than other clubs.

The Ski Club & Chalet is located 40 minutes north of the City of Greater Sudbury, in Windy Lake Provincial Park, just off highway 144. The Chalet is open daily, with full weekends and holidays offering day passes and equipment rentals from morning till late afternoon. At all other times, day passes can be purchased at the Windy Lake Motel.

Trails at Onaping Falls Nordics Ski Club offer a wide variety of lengths and levels of difficulty, catering to all skill levels from beginner to experienced skiers. The club's higher elevation often ensures snow when no one else in the area does, providing a unique skiing experience.

Memberships and day passes can be purchased online at Zone 4, with day passes also available at the Windy Lake Motel. Ski rentals are offered at the Chalet on weekends and select holidays, with rates varying for adults, students, juniors, youths, and families. Snowshoe day passes and rentals are also available for a separate fee.

The club offers programs like the Bunnyrabbit Program for children 5 years and younger, introducing them to cross-country skiing and a healthy lifestyle through organized activities. The Jackrabbit Program is designed for children in the “FUNdamentals” stage, teaching basic ski skills and instilling a lifelong interest in the sport.
