Omarama Gliding Club is a gliding and soaring club based in Omarama. It focuses on providing aircraft suited to Omarama soaring conditions, advanced orientation training for the local terrain, and gliding skills training. The club supports local pilots, members from across New Zealand, and overseas members who want to fly with club support in one of the country's top soaring areas. Tow plane and winch launches are provided by local operators.
