The Old School Boxing gym in Darlington is a dedicated space for individuals of all ages and abilities who are interested in learning the art of boxing. Founded in 2021 by National Boxing Champion and former professional boxer Michael Hall (also known as Oscar Hall) and Adam Batley, the gym is committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.
With years of experience in both amateur and professional boxing, Michael and Adam have the knowledge and expertise to guide individuals on their boxing journey. Whether its someone wanting to try boxing for the first time, maintain their fitness, or pursue a career in the sport, the trainers at Old School Boxing are equipped to support and assist every step of the way.
The Old School Boxing gym offers a variety of classes and training options to cater to different age groups and skill levels. The junior class, designed for ages 10-15, focuses on mastering the basics of boxing while instilling discipline and building a solid foundation of fitness. The senior class, open to all genders and abilities, allows individuals to choose their own path in boxing, whether it be for competition or personal development.
In addition to group classes, Old School Boxing also provides one-on-one coaching sessions with Michael. With his years of experience training people at all levels, he is able to tailor workouts and provide personalised guidance to help individuals achieve their goals.
