Welcome to O'Hehir School of Irish Dance, a tope dance school located in Spennymoor, New Zealand. At O'Hehir School of Irish Dance, we are dedicated to achieving exceptional standards of dance and providing a warm and positive environment for dancers to grow.
Founded by Katrina O'Hehir TCRG, a highly accomplished dancer herself, our school offers a range of classes for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Katrina started dancing at the age of 4 and quickly rose to prominence in the dance world, placing in the top 10 in World Championships, All Ireland, Great Britain, and American Nationals. She also toured with Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, performing to sold-out crowds around the world. With her extensive experience and passion for teaching, Katrina obtained her TCRG teaching qualification in 2005 and established the O'Hehir School of Irish Dance in 2017.
Collette Hesketh, another talented dancer and nurse, is also part of our team. Collette started dancing at a young age and achieved great success in competitions, qualifying for World Championships and touring with Lord of the Dance. She brings her expertise and passion for dance to our school, making it an exceptional learning environment for all our students.
Our fully-equipped and recently renovated studio provides the perfect setting for dancers to learn and improve their technique. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, we offer classes that cater to your needs. Our professional staff is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential and nurturing their creativity and artistic development.
