Soke Suzuki, a highly respected figure in the world of Karate, has dedicated his life to the study and practice of Karate, earning multiple dan ranks and certificates in both Karate-do and Kobudo.
As a member of Japan Karate-do Suzuki-ha Shito-ryu SEIKOKAI, Odokan Karate is affiliated with Karate B. C. Association, the provincial governing body for Karate in British Columbia. Karate B.
C. is recognized and funded by the Provincial Government and is a provincial affiliate of Karate Canada, the national governing body for Karate in Canada. Karate Canada is also the Canadian representative in the World Karate Federation, the international sport governing body for Karate recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
