Located in the heart of Dunfermline, Paul of Fife Swim Centre invites all aspiring swimmers to their specialised facility. Since its establishment in November 2021, Fife Swim Centre has been providing top-notch swimming lessons for children in Fife, in partnership with Octotots Swim School.
With over a decade of experience in swimming instruction, Paul focuses on developing water confidence and promoting natural swimming abilities in babies and children. The pool measures 12m × 5m, with a constant depth of 1.3m, and is maintained at a comfortable 33 degrees Celsius, ensuring an inviting atmosphere for young swimmers.
The centre boasts facilities that cater to both parents and children. Parents can relax in the reception area, watching their child's progress on a large screen. There are eight changing cubicles, each with a baby change station, as well as a disabled bathroom with additional baby changing facilities. Five communal showers are also available, along with a small shop offering snacks, beverages, and essential swimming gear.
Visitors benefit from free on-site parking, adding to the overall convenience.
Paul's collaboration with Octotots Swim School offers a comprehensive programme, including aqua natal yoga classes for expectant mothers and core swimming programmes tailored to different age groups. Babies and children aged 0–4 can join Octotots, while children aged 4-6 can participate in the Academy programme. The Octokidz programme is designed for children aged 6 and above.
Existing customers have access to a Customer Portal via the centre's app, enabling them to manage their information easily. The app allows for absence notifications, booking catch-up classes, and updating contact details, ensuring seamless communication and organisation.
