Welcome! We hope you'll walk 10k with Prevention Australia on October 11: The walking is real—it's the community that's virtual.
With a virtual walk, you pick where you do it, who you do it with, and what time you start.
Is there any Virtual Walk swag?
Of course—what's a 10km walk without some swag? When you sign up, you'll get a Prevention cap and microfibre sports towel for $35*. There are only 500 kits available, so make sure to order soon!

What if I can’t do it on October 11?
That’s okay! Sign up, do your 10K anytime in October, and wear your Prevention cap proudly! We’ll be sharing photos on our social media that day with the hashtag #preventionwalk, and hope you will too—but we’ll be excited to hear about your walk whenever you do it.
How do you know I really did a 10km?
Frankly, we don’t. But we trust you—that’s what community is all about. We'll be following along with everyone who posts on social media, so be sure to share your experience and use #preventionwalk tags on social media.
