Team must have a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 12 players. The competition runs for a total of 14 weeks, including finals.
At Oakleigh Volleyball Association, we pride ourselves on creating a friendly and social atmosphere where players of all levels can enjoy the game of volleyball. Our competitions are held on Friday and Sunday nights at the Oakleigh Recreation Centre (ORC) in Oakleigh, Victoria.
On Friday nights, we offer volleyball coaching sessions for kids aged 10 and older. The coaching sessions are divided into two groups, with one session from 6:30pm to 7:50pm for kids aged 10 to 15, and another session from 8:00pm to 9:30pm for kids aged 14 and over. Our coaching sessions cater to all skill levels and provide a supportive environment for kids to learn and improve their volleyball skills. The cost for 10 consecutive coaching sessions is $150.
00 per child, and a training top can be purchased for $30. 00.
On Monday nights, we offer volleyball coaching sessions for adults, specifically beginners and intermediates. The coaching sessions run from 8:30pm to 10:30pm and focus on various drills to help improve volleyball skills. The sessions also include a short game to put the newly learned skills into practise. The cost for each coaching session is $15.
00 cash per person, paid on the night. The coaching sessions run from September 4th, 2023, to December 18th, 2023.
Our Friday night volleyball competition is a highlight of our club. The competition runs from 7:00pm to 11:00pm at the Oakleigh Recreation Centre. It is a social competition that caters to players of all levels. The game fees are $65.
00 per team, and there is a bond of $65. 00 per team, which is forfeited if a team pulls out of the competition before the end of the season. Each team will also need to pay a registration fee of $90. 00 per season, which is non-refundable.
Additionally, each player must be registered with Volleyball Victoria.
