Located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, Nuneaton Bowling Club is a thriving and friendly bowls club that offers both great social and bowling facilities. Established in 1923 by a group of bowlers who rented their green in Coton Road, the club has since purchased its own green in Higham Lane, Nuneaton. The current green and Club House were constructed and opened on May 29th, 1947, originally known as Nuneaton Town Bowling Club before later becoming Nuneaton Bowling Club.
The club caters to various membership types, including social membership, novice membership (for the first year only), and bowling membership. Membership applications for the 2023 season are available from 1st to 31st March 2023. Social membership is priced at 20. 00, novice membership is priced at 47.
50 (for the first year only), and bowling membership is priced at 95. 00.
The club boasts a first-class six-rink bowling green, perfect for both competitive bowling and social “roll ups. ” The green is meticulously maintained by a dedicated greenkeeper and voluntary aided staff. In addition to the bowling facilities, Nuneaton Bowling Club also has a full-size snooker table available for use all year round and short mat bowling leagues during the winter months.
