Nuneaton BMX Club, previously known as Stockingford Crusaders, has been a prominent BMX club in Nuneaton since its formation in 2007 with only 10 riders. Over the years, the club has experienced significant growth and now represents the entire Nuneaton area. The club holds its meetings every Thursday at 6:00 pm during the summer, and on scheduled dates throughout the winter. The cost of participation is 1 for members and 2 for non-members.
Nuneaton BMX Club caters to all levels of sports participation, with options ranging from fun weekly meetings to small club race series, regional races in the Midlands, and even participation in the UK's National series. Regardless of age, everyone is welcome to join the club from 4 years old and above. The club even offers the use of bikes for only 2, or for free to members.
The main track, where most of the action takes place, is located behind the Jubilee Sports Centre on Greenmoor Road in Nuneaton (CV10 7EZ). Visitors can conveniently park in the sports centre car park with the entrance by the speed camera. After passing the skate park, the track can be found around the corner on the left. This national specification, 8-lane BMX track is used for weekly meetings, club races, and regional races.
Additionally, there is a smaller 4-lane pump track that is just a 5-minute distance away, perfect for younger riders to get started. Both tracks are accessible to the public.
